Welcome to The Joyful Nest. This page describes the terms and conditions related to the reception and handover of services during your stay at The Joyful Nest. By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below. In this document, “The Joyful Nest” or “we” refers to the service provider; “Mother” or “you” refers to the person who booked and is using the services.

Check-In & Check-Out Times

Check-in begins at 15:00 on the first day of your stay. Check-out must be completed by 11:00 on the last day. Mother and baby will check out together.

To allow us sufficient time to prepare the room and all services, please confirm your expected check-in date at least 3 days in advance.

Schedule Adjustments When Birth Date Changes

We understand that the journey of welcoming your baby does not always go as planned. If your actual birth date changes and you are unable to check in on your originally scheduled date, we will work with you to find a suitable solution, including proposing a new check-in date, arranging an equivalent room, or converting part of your stay into equivalent services. A change in birth date does not constitute a cancellation of your booking.

Baby Admission Requirements

To ensure the safety and highest quality of care, The Joyful Nest accepts babies who meet the following criteria at the time of check-in:

  • A gestational age of at least 36 completed weeks
  • A minimum weight of 2,500 grams

If your baby does not yet meet these criteria, we will assess each case individually, prioritizing the health and safety of Mother and baby. In such situations, we may recommend delaying the admission date, adjusting the stay schedule, or modifying the service package, and may request discharge documents to support our assessment.

Visitors & Visiting Policy

The room is reserved exclusively for Mother and baby. Family members and friends are welcome during the hours of 10:00 – 18:00, subject to the following rules:

  • A maximum of 4 people may be present in the room at the same time
  • No more than 8 visitors per day
  • Groups of more than 4 people are kindly asked to gather in the common area as directed by our team

All visitors, including children, must register in advance with The Joyful Nest team and comply with our health screening process. Visitors with symptoms of fever, gastrointestinal, or respiratory illness are kindly asked not to visit while the baby is staying with us.

To protect the health and well-being of all mothers and babies, visitors are asked to: keep the environment quiet, refrain from touching the baby without permission, not care for the baby in place of staff, and not bring strongly scented food (such as durian) into the room.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask a visitor to leave the premises if necessary to maintain safety and tranquility for all.

Room & Premises Use

Please use the room, furnishings, and equipment properly, and notify us immediately upon discovering any damage or malfunction. Mother will be responsible for repair costs or compensation if damage is caused by Mother or her visitors.

Housekeeping services are performed daily. If you would like to adjust the cleaning schedule, please notify us in advance so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

Meals & Wellness Services

Meals at The Joyful Nest are nutritionally planned and served at fixed times. Please inform us of any allergies, food intolerances, or special dietary requirements before your stay begins. Unused meals will not be refunded.

Wellness services such as massage or yoga must be booked in advance and may be adjusted based on Mother’s health condition.

Medical Support & Emergency Situations

The Joyful Nest provides postpartum care and nursing support within our licensed scope of practice — we do not perform medical diagnosis or treatment. If Mother or baby requires urgent medical intervention, our team will assist in contacting the appropriate medical facility and arranging timely transport. The cost of medical treatment and transportation is the responsibility of Mother.

Prohibited Activities

To maintain a quiet, safe, and healthy environment for everyone, the following activities are not permitted on The Joyful Nest premises: smoking, consuming alcohol, bringing outside food without prior approval, bringing pets, dangerous items, or anything in violation of the law, disruptive behavior, and unauthorized commercial activities. Violations may result in the immediate termination of your stay.
